Pair arrested after police spotted the two in a suspicious van.
Two Best Buy employees have been arrested after they were caught trying to intercept a shipment of 2,000 iPad 3's.
The iPad 3, which was released today, was the latest installment of Apple's popular tablet PC; and 24-year-old Jasmin Roman and 26-year-old Juan Carlos Ortiz Valez knew that.
Across the country, people were waiting in line for days to be one of the first to get their hands on the device.
Roman, a Best Buy employee and Valez, a former employee, were going to rob a Best Buy store in an Orlando mall a day before the release of the tablet.
A police sergeant became suspicious when he saw a U-Haul truck pull up near the mall.
Once the officers approached them, the two admitted their plot.
Detective Geoff Fahringer said of the planned million dollar heist: "They watched too many movies. To come out and see this this morning was a like a practical joke or April Fools."

The pair planned to hold the manager gunpoint, tie the other employees up and steal the merchandise.
