Basketball Wives: Kesha Talks 'Hooking Up' with Kenya's Hubby & Tami's Rage

The newest cast member gets candid

Kesha Nichols is one of the new girls on the block on this season of Basketball Wives. Most people know her as the girl who got left at the altar by the NBA's Richard Jefferson or, now that the show's aired, as the girl who got reamed by fellow castmate Tami Roman during dinner.

However, I have to give Kesha props for keeping her cool thus far. She's been trying really hard to be ladylike and stay out of the drama but, sadly, she probably didn’t realize what she had signed up for.

Kesha recently appeared on VH1’s The Big Morning Buzz Live talk show and addressed everything:

On being the 'new girl': I felt like I was starting my first day of high school.

On why she didn't "stand up" for herself against Tami: I don't make friends by standing up and cussing people out. That's not how I get in good with people.

On anything Kenya-related: I'd rather walk on my lips than say something mean about somebody, so I plead the fifth.

On what she expected the show to be: I didn't think everything would be set up - just drinks, talking smack, drinks, talking smack, and eat sometimes.

On if she tried to get with Kenya's husband: I was in Milwaukee with Kenya and her husband when my ex played there. We were all friends. He texted me, 'Hey.' I did not respond, I told Kenya immediately and that's the end of the story.

Kesha also admitted that she the reason she spoke with Evelyn first about her issue with Tami was so she could get a good gauge on how to handle her, considering the fact that Tami's a loose cannon. It makes perfect sense to people with rational minds, but well…these are reality TV stars so…I digress.

Watch the clip below.

I have a feeling that at some point Kesha will transform and play the mean girl game. What do you think?
