Beyonce Finally Joins Social Media with Tumblr Page (& Private Pics)

Will you "follow" her?

Beyonce has finally joined the world of social media, but gaining over 3 million Twitter followers - without having ever Tweeted a single 140-character message, mind you - wasn't enough to get Bey to join the popular networking site.

She, instead, chose to launch a Tumblr page. (The short-form blogging platform allows it's users to post excerpts of text, images, videos, quotes and links - all in a simplified, uncluttered, and aesthetically-pleasing way - which followers can then comment on or re-blog.)

Since the birth of their daughter Blue Ivy, Beyonce and Jay-Z, a once notoriously-private couple, have become increasingly less guarded with their fans and the public. Not only did Bey reveal her pregnancy during the MTV Music Awards, but the two willingly shared photos of their daughter once born. And that came just days after Jay debuted his song "Glory," on which he included both Blue's crying in the background and, through lyrics, a personal story about Bey's past experience with having a miscarriage.

Falling in line with their newfound appreciation for honesty and openness, it seems Beyonce's Tumblr (which can only be accessed with a password for now) will feature never-before-seen pics of her private life. See a sneak peek below.

This news coincides with the celebration of their 4th wedding anniversary - today, April 4.
