Bobby Brown 'Beside Himself' Over Whitney Houston's Death

New Edition band member still going to perform at concert tonight.

Singer Bobby Brown is reportedly emotionally distraught and besides himself at the news of his ex-wife Whitney Houston's sudden death.

TMZ is reporting that Brown, who is scheduled to perform tonight in Mississippi with his fellow New Edition band mates, is going in and out of crying fits.

"He was sobbing, and by the end of the call, I was sobbing, too," a family member told People after Brown called with the news. "He's beside himself right now."

Despite her death, Brown will reportedly still perform and fulfill his show obligation.

Bobby and Whitney have a long and storied tumultuous relationship which ended in divorce in 2007 after being together for close to two decades.

She was found dead in a hotel room at 4 p.m. Pacific time. She was unresponsive after 20 minutes of CPR.

May the Queen of Pop and one of the greatest singers of all-time rest in peace.

Well, deficit sure was not a problem during their 8 years of utter destructio­n. Jon Stewart even played back them stating it was "healthy" and not a problem at all. 2012 Elections: Flip those floppers!!
