Brian McKnight's Adult Mixtape About "P***y" Offends Twitter

Was he being clueless or clever?

Brian McKnight may have grown tired of being the gentlemanly crooner, because the same man who brought us "One Last Cry," "Anytime," and "Back at One," has just released an "adult mixtape."

Well, he attempted to - before fans attacked him for his new musical venture.

Yesterday, McKnight became a trending topic on Twitter after posting a video of him singing a surprisingly vulgar slow jam, in which the chorus' lyrics are:

"Let me show you how your p***y works / Since you didn't bring it to me first / Let me show you how your p***y works / Bet you didn't know that it could squirt / I have lots of things to show you / If you're ready to learn."

McKnight appears completely (and strangely) unaffected by the song's shock value, simply and sweetly asking for his fans to "Let me know what you think!" at the end.

And let him know, they did. McKnight spent the rest of the night defending himself, saying:

"Okay im taking it down and ill never do it again."

He continued, "I'm putting up a safe song jeez no sense of humor but i trended for a little while. Its just sad that this is what i had to do to get most of these people to even acknowledge me. I think I just mind effed the whole world this is crazy!!!!!"

One is left wondering if he could really be that oblivious, or this is just one hell of a clever publicity stunt, because surely no one was speaking McKnights name before this.
