Tavis Smiley and Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Trade Barbs Over Obama's CBC Speech
1 year ago
Save to say neither one was impressed
President Obama's #1 fan Tavis Smiley and Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee have plenty to say about President Obama's recent address to the Congressional Black Caucus where he told them to "stop complaining" and "stop crying." Smiley took particular offense to the statement pointing out that he'd never say that to Jews or Republicans, in public. Lee agreed saying that she couldn't tell if Obama was trying to be a motivator or complainer himself.
