Twitter Says "RIP" To Chris Brown
But it's not what you think...
Twitter is known for "killing" celebrities; everybody from Eddie Murphy to Adele has fallen victim to the cruel hoax of being reported dead by the social networking site. Fans and followers then flood their timeline with "RIP" messages, ultimately causing the "dead" celeb to become a trending topic and, in turn, become even more popular. They say all publicity is good, right?
But early this morning, when the phrase "RIP Chris Brown" began bubbling up on Twitter, there were mixed emotions.

Some of sadness: "RIP Chris Brown is trending OMG Is already dead MY IDOL.....,,,,,,"
Others of disregard: "RIP Chris Brown? Twitter has killed more black people then Hurricane Katrina"
And some telling their version of the truth: "RIP Chris Brown = REALLY INSPIRING PERSON. Come at me hoes."
In a new twist, Brown's fans have turned the negative acronym on it's head to create something poetic. This comes just days after he performed and won the Best R&B Album Award at the 2012 Grammys - a decision the jury (of the public) is still out on in terms of his deserving it.
