The staffing agency offers Loop 21 official statement
On August 10, Loop 21 columnist Jamilah Lemieux reported the story of Richard Beachman Sr., who was allegedly harassed at work with a noose. As promised, Aerotek, the staffing agency that placed Beachman at Oshkosh Specialty Vehicle provided Loop 21 with at statement regarding the incident.

As a company with a long-standing commitment to promote workplace diversity and equal employment opportunities, we were very upset to learn of Mr. Beachman’s experience at Oshkosh Specialty Vehicle and the alleged actions taken in this situation.
We have stringent corporate policies in place to handle alleged incidents reported by Aerotek contractors about hostile working environments and have launched an investigation into these allegations. Aerotek does not condone workplace harassment in any form at any of our offices or at any of the thousands of companies where Aerotek places contract or permanent workers.
