'Black Dynamite' Gets Animated

Bad Ass is coming to the small screen

Thanks to Adult Swim, "Black Dynamite," the bad ass 2009 film-turned-series is coming to your television in Spring 2012. Finally a cartoon to look forward to after the void left by Boondocks.

Michael Jai White, who created the film, will reprise his role in the television series along with Byron Minns, Tommy Davison and Kym Whitley, who lend their voices to Black Dynamite, Bullhorn, Cream Corn and Honeybee, respectively.

Take a look at the show's pilot, where Black Dynamite takes on his childhood mentor That Frog Kurtis (J.B. Smoove), a rogue educational show puppet who tries to execute his diabolical plan on national television.
