Mel B. Snapped By Paps While in Labor

British singer welcomes a baby girl

Former Spice Girl Mel B was recently snapped while walking into a hospital apparently in labor.

The 36-year-old mother of three leaned on her husband Stephen Belafonte in obvious pain while walking into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Mel B. rushed to the hospital after she complained via Twitter that she couldn't sleep.

“can’t sleep arrrhhhh!!!! gonna go to my kitchen and eat,that always helps!!! in LA right now it’s 413am.,” Mel B. said in a series of tweets.

Still, the couple welcomed their first child around 5 a.m. on Sept. 1. Of course, the U.K. singer tweeted the experience saying, 'Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!'

The new baby girl's name is unknown. Still, she's welcomed by her two older sisters Phoenix Chi, 12, and Angel, 4, Mel B's daughter with Eddie Murphy.
