Michele Bachmann: Obama has Failed the Black Community

"Mr. President, the status quo is not working for Americans"

GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann claims President Barack Obama has failed African Americans, citing the 16 percent unemployment rate.

"Mr. President, the status quo is not working for Americans," she said at the Republican Leadership Conference. "This president has failed the Hispanic community. He has failed the African-American community. He has failed us all when it comes to jobs."

As the Tea Party fave continues to raise her millions, Obama has a lot of work to do when it comes to winning back his Latino and Black voters.

Latino voters are especially frustrated with Obama failing to come through with the immigration bill he had promised for his first year in office. “What I can guarantee is that we will have in the first year an immigration bill that I strongly support and that I’m promoting,” Obama said in an interview with broadcaster Univision in 2008.
