Montel Williams Opens Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Sacramento

Weed clinic is upscale
Former talk show host Montel Williams has opened a new medical marijuana dispensary in Sacramento. Williams, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, is a prominent advocate for legalizing marijuana for medical purposes.
Williams claims his pot clinic is high-end and more upscale. FOX40 reports the clinic has no signs outside and one must pass through metal detectors just to go inside.
He's even made the place seem more like a doctor's office and provides counselors for the patients.
"We believe they're coming in here to be educated," Williams told News 10 of potential customers. "They're coming in here so they can feel comfortable, so to make them feel comfortable we're going to be providing them with more information and more guidance than I believe any facility in this country is attempting to do."
The medical marijuana business is booming and Williams is most probably hoping to make bank like any other person would. Medical marijuana sales generate $1.7 billion a year! Wonder how much he's going to charge his patients at his "high-end" clinic. The packaging may be different, but how different will the product be?
Business aside, Williams has made it clear how greatly he's benefited from the use of medical marijuana compared to the liver damage prescription drugs were causing him. It's nice to see Williams have such a strong voice for those who are truly suffering.
