Scientists have developed a date rape drug detector to help women stay safe
Not sure what's in your drink? Israeli scientists have developed a date rape drug detector that could answer your questions in seconds.
The sensor sucks up a sample of a drink and alarms you if it has been spiked. It is expected to be in the market in a few years.
In 2007, 200,000 women were raped here in the states with the aid of a date rape drug. Since so many cases go unreported, the actual number is believed to be 80 percent to 100 percent higher, according to the researchers.
