President talks Obamacare and economic policy
President Obama kicked off his three day jobs bus tour in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. For the road trip President Obama has special secret service approved buses instead of his usual limo. The President discussed jobs, the overall economy, and how to fix partisan gridlock in Washington, D.C. President Obama repeated his point about there being nothing wrong with our country saying, “There is nothing wrong with America that can't be fixed," Mr. Obama said. "What's broken is our politics."
President Obama also said of the right wing label for healthcare reform, Obamacare, "I have no problem with people saying Obama cares...I do care," he pointed out. "If the other side wants to be the folks who don't care? That's fine with me."
The President also highlighted his plans for improving the economy including continuing the payroll tax cut, an infrastructure bank which funds the rebuilding of American roads and bridges, and tax incentives to companies who hire veterans.
