Victim says Shaq sent Crips after him

Newly retired NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal (pictured) has been accused of setting up a pistol-whipping beatdown of a Los Angeles man who claimed to have sex tapes of the basketball star while he was still married to his ex-wife, Shaunie.

The victim, Robert Ross, says that he and Shaq did some business in the past but fell out after a deal with Ray J. went south. In order to get back the money Shaq allegedly owed him, Ross claims that he threatened to release the tapes of the basketball star having sex with multiple women, which were caught with home security cameras.

According to Ross, Shaq responded to his threat by having a few L.A. Crips track him down, surround his car and then force him to drive to a house in South Central, where he received the beatdown of his life. Unfortunately for Ross, the reported tapes no longer exist because the security camera erased the footage. So essentially he got beat down, for nothing.

It should be noted that this reportedly happened when things were seemingly unstable between Shaq and Shaunie. The reported incident happened one year after Shaunie filed divorce papers, and one year before she filed again and eventually split.

At press time, Shaq has not been officially named in the case.
