Couples Therapy: DMX & 'Jersey Shore's' Angelina are a Perfect Match

They both have similar anger issues.

It looks like DMX and Angelina from 'Jersey Shore' might ironically be made for each other based on the preview clip of tonight’s episode of 'Couples Therapy.'

Last week’s premiere of 'Couples Therapy' ended with DMX going off on his estranged wife Tashera by telling her that he was going to F women until his Johnson falls off - that’s the cleaned up version. He also admitted that he never wanted to get married in the first place in front of a room full of people.

He didn't feel he was being disrespectful and tried to blame most of their issues on her; in his world, telling the “truth” is different from being disrespectful (but obviously, the way you deliver information matters).

It was really sad to watch because Tashera and DMX are obviously hurting. Tashera’s pain is from being mistreated, while DMX has had a lifetime of troubles which causes him to lash out at everyone as a result. If you know his story, then you know that he was abused as a child, in and out of foster homes, and on drugs at an early age. His healing with Tashera may not happen if he doesn’t successfully work on himself first. (You’ll see what I mean in the following clip, which picks up where last week left off.)

But before watching the clip, let’s talk about Angelina Pavarnick.

When she and boyfriend Chris Nirschel were first introduced on the show, we saw that they had anger issues toward each other, among other problems, but it seemed like Angelina initiated most of the hostility. In the following clip, Pavarnick gets upset with her boyfriend because he decides to season ribs instead of going to bed at the moment she wants to. What is seemingly a non-issue turns into a severe argument over…I’m still not quite sure, but watch:

Do you see what I mean about Angelina and DMX? They express their anger by going on the defense, which eventually turns into abuse toward their partners. That was sad to watch. They both obviously need serious help. Hopefully they actually do get it despite cameras being in their faces all the time.

“Couples Therapy” airs tonight at 9pm on Vh1.
