CES has plenty to offer, but here is what you need.

Every January, patrons of the annual Consumer Electronics Show are given a glimpse of the future, as companies debut their new products.

While we're still not yet at the flying car stage (though there is one that drives itself), there are a lot of new devices worth checking out. Here, a look at some of the new gadgets.

Tobii Rex: $995

The Tobii Rex allows users to control their computer screen cursor with their eyes. Yes, that is what we just said, with your eyes! You attach the device to the bottom of your LCD monitor. It spends 30 seconds to get adjusted to your retina and then it's ready to be under your command. It doesn't do all of the work for you though. You still have to do your own clicking. Maybe next year they will have a version that clicks whenever you blink?

iRiver ON: $199

The iRiver ON is a godsend for runners. The Bluetooth-enabled device tracks your heart rate, distance, speed, cadence and calories burned and plays music from whatever its been synced with. It goes around your neck instead of in your pocket, keeping your run hassle-free.

Samsung 45mm 2D/3D Camera Lens: $500

While the 3D craze seems to be toning down a bit, Samsung knows there are still a few people out there who want to toy with it. Their new 45mm 2D/3D camera lens allows users to switch back and forth between the two.

Basis Band: $199

Everybody needs some extra-motivation and the Basis Band gives you that. Not only does it keep track of your fitness goals and progress, it reminds you when you're slipping. Sit around too long, and the Basis Band will let you know it's time to get off your butt.

Trakdot: $49.95

Tired of the people at the airport losing your luggage and not bothering to find it? The Trakdot can put an end to all of that. The device is like a GPS for your lost luggage. Drop it into any checked bag before boarding and if the bag doesn't show up at the airport with you, you can call the device from your phone or via the iPhone app to locate it. It also comes with a $13 subscription fee.

YotaPhone: N/A

The YotaPhone is a two-sided smartphone that actually saves battery usage. How does that work? Well, one side of the phone features full-color LCD screen like most smartphones, but the other side is a e-ink display that doesn't require as much power usage. So if your battery is dying but you desperately need to use Google Maps to get somewhere, you can turn on the e-ink side to save battery.
