Man Charged With Plotting Movie Theater Shooting Similar to Colorado
Police arrested the man after his mother reported his weapons purchase
A small-town Missouri man stands accused of plotting to open fire in a movie theater during the latest"Twilight" film. He was arrested and charged Friday after his mother contacted police, telling them she worried her son had purchased weapons like the ones used during the fatal Colorado theater shooting.

The Associated Press reports that Blaec Lammers, 20, of Bolivar, Mo., was charged by police with first-degree assault, making a terroristic threat and armed criminal action. He was jailed in Polk County on $500,000 bond.
