The area is expected to get ‘poppin’ with liquor flowing earlier than normal.

Super Bowl Sunday is a time to celebrate the beauty of the game of football and root for your favorite teams’ victory. Well…its that and a time get a little crazy with fan support. Ravens fans prepared for the big day, buying supplies, heading to bars extra early and finishing the final touches on all the purple get ups—that includes hair, in some cases.

Even Hair Cuttery is feeling the purple fever, offering free Raven purple hair paint to anyone who asks for it Sunday at any of the company’s 117 Maryland locations.

Police in Baltimore and the suburbs are gearing up as well, with crowd and traffic control and additional officers in bar-heavy areas. Some people have already started the fan support, attending Super Bowl brunches. One restaurant, Wit & Wisdom at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, is featuring purple mimosas starting at 9 a.m. sharp! Every year, the country witnesses hometowns of Super Bowl teams rally their fan support is concentrated droves—eager to celebrate a potential victory in the streets. (Baltimore Sun)
