Republicans seek Latinos' vote with $10 million
With efforts to win over the Latino vote in 17 states, Republicans are trying harder than ever to mend relations with the Hispanic community.
So, with a $10 million initiative in place, the party is ready to make electoral success across the nation.
Years have passed as Republicans try to earn the Latino community's vote, and while population continues to grow, their efforts have yet to be successful.
Party leaders, though, agree that with this new [and costly] initiative, which includes a paid staff and year-round voter targeting throughout the 17 states, this time around is much more meaningful with far more effort than the previous rounds.
"We're building a permanent grassroots infrastructure that will expand every year," said Republican National Committee's deputy political director, Jennifer Sevilla Korn.
Do you think the Republican party will succeed in earning the Latino vote?
