Donald Trump unloaded a torrent of stupidity and megalomania on Twitter today

As hospitals, shelters and public transportation were being shut down in New York City and around the region because of the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy, Donald Trump took it upon himself to do something truly heroic: he extended his offer of $5 million to President Obama to release his college records.

“Because of the hurricane, I am extending my $5 million  offer for President Obama’s favorite charity until noon on Thursday," Trump tweeted this morning.

Yes, rather than offering to donate that money to charities working on hurricane relief or organizations that are still attempting to bring food and care to the elderly and disabled, the Donald wants everyone to know he's still offering it in exchange for Obama's records.

Since Sandy began wreaking havoc on the Northeast, the Donald has taken to Twitter to lambaste the president while momentarily taking breaks to talk about himself and how great he is.

The day after the hurricane hit New York, Trump tweeted  “people are having a great time in the Trump Tower atrium.”

With the safety of those wealthy enough to afford his penthouse apartments confirmed, Trump lamented the "good luck" that this natural disaster has been for President Obama.

“Hurricane is good luck for Obama again – he will buy the election by handing out billions of dollars. Not only giving out money, but Obama will be seen today standing in water and rain like he is a real president —don’t fall for it.”

Around the country, people may seem worried about their friends and loved ones affected by the hurricane, but Trump knows what they're really thinking about.

"Fans shouldn't worry. We have adjusted the filming schedule of the upcoming 13th season of appropriately due to the storm," he tweeted this afternoon.
