UNITY: Journalists for Diversity, Inc. and Loop 21 recently conducted a survey about race and media, and the results are in!
We will host a lunch and interactive panel discussion about how race affects modern day media on March 8th, and you're invited to attend. A panel of distinguished journalists have agreed to participate, including Jenée Desmond-Harris, White House correspondent for The Root, Joseph Torres, co-author of the New York Times best seller News for All the People: The Epic Story of Race and the American Media and Gautham Nagesh, an editor for CQ Roll Call who reports on politics, race, media and technology. Steve Holmes, executive director, Office of Standards and Practices at CNN, will moderate the discussion.

Time: A complimentary lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The panel will follow from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
