When social media sites are down, the whole world freaks out.
One of the top trends of Twitter read, "Facebook Currently Doesn't Allow Status Updates" yesterday as Facebook endured an outage that disabled status updates and 'liking' posts.
According to Down Right Now, users were complaining about the issues for three full hours, and many took to Twitter to express their disappointment.
Some thought it was a perfect time to insert comedic relief, and they were mighty good at doing so.
"Productivity Surges with Facebook Outage, Recession Over by Monday Afternoon, Say Experts," was one tweet sent out by Steve Silberman. Another read, "Facebook down. Panic in the streets, people go around with their photos asking, 'You like?'" from Nir Kouris.
