Eddie Murphy Only Has 'A Thousand Words' Left [TRAILER]
Will Murphy's big screen comeback be a success?
Th year 2011 wasn't kind to Eddie Murphy. In addition to his Oscar-hosting gig being a bust, his movie Tower Heist flat-lined at the box office, and he had to suffer through yet another internet hoax proclaiming his death.
Hopefully his new project, A Thousand Words, will turn all that around.
In his new film, Murphy plays Jack McCall, a slick fast-talking literary agent who experiences the ultimate in karmic justice when a new age guru sentences him to only 1,000 words before he dies.
The cast includes Kerry Washington as Murphy's much-neglected wife Caroline, Ruby Dee as Murphy's grandmother, John Witherspoon and Allison Janney (The Help).
A Thousand Words opens in theaters March 9, 2012.
