Anthony Mackie, Sanaa Lathan to Host NAACP Image Awards

Show to be broadcast live from Los Angeles
The 43rd Annual NAACP Image Awards will be hosted by actors Anthony Mackie and Sanaa Lathan, and will air on February 17 live on NBC.
The show will feature LL Cool J, Paula Patton and Cuba Gooding, Jr., who starred in the film Red Tails alongside co-star Terrance Howard who will also appear in the show.

The NAACP will honor the founding members of the Black Stuntmen’s Association, bestowing the organization will the NAACP President’s Award. It is given “in recognition of special achievement and distinguished public service.” Former President Bill Clinton and boxing legend Muhammad Ali are both past recipients.
“I am proud to honor the men and women of the Black Stuntmen’s Association with the NAACP President’s Award,” said NAACP President Ben Jealous in a statement. “The efforts of these pioneers helped to chip away at the racial barriers that divided not only stuntmen, but the entire entertainment/media industry.”
