Schwarzenegger Says Movies Aren’t to Blame for Gun Violence

The Terminator disagrees with the notion that violence in movies has anything to do with America’s perceived gun violence problem. In an interview promoting his latest movie, The Last Stand (plenty of gun violence in this movie too, by the way), the former governor of California spoke on the recent Sandy Hook shooting, telling reporters: “[This is] entertainment and the other thing is a tragedy beyond belief. It's really serious and it's the real deal." He added: "We have to analyze how we deal with mental illness, how we deal with gun laws, how we deal with parenting." (Guardian)
