Cedric the Entertainer to Kimmel: "Don't Kill the President"

Friendly advice, from one comedian to another

Cedric the Entertainer offered some advice to fellow comedian Jimmy Kimmel who will host the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner Saturday night, saying that since it’s “an election year” you want to be sure to NOT “kill the president.” 

“For this situation you’re in, you know, approaching an election year so you don’t want to really kinda kill the president, you want to have a lot of fun up there and of course, Barack Obama, he‘s kinda cool so it’s really hard to do like a lot of jokes on him,” he said.

Cedric the Entertainer hosted the annual dinner in 2005.
