Terminal Cancer Patient, 13, Becomes Honorary CoverGirl

Meet Talia Castellano

CoverGirl has made the dreams of a cancer-stricken patient come true. Talia Castellano, 13, was named an honorary CoverGirl by the cosmetics giant after she gained national attention by appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Castellano had already gained fans and a following through her YouTube makeup reviews and tutorials. The teen was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 7 and, this summer, she revealed in a video that the cancer had returned and spread to her bone marrow. "The chances of not surviving are fewer than surviving. If we even find a match, if my body rejects it then I am screwed, I went through all that crap for nothing," she said. Castellano was back in the hospital Thursday getting more treatments; her most recent round of chemo was deemed mostly successful, shrinking the tumors in her chest by 75 percent. (MSNBC)
