Tastemakers turn out to celebrate start of dance troupe's New York season

The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's five-week New York engagement launched with an Opening Night Gala Benefit where Macy's and Bloomingdale's were honored. Prominent figures in the worlds of entertainment, business, philanthropy, and politics were in attendance at Wednesday night's festivities.
