'Straight Outta Compton' biopic in the works

You might remember Erin Bria Wright from MTV's "Super Sweet 16" that portrayed the daughter of fallen west coast rapper Eazy E as a spoiled teenager determined to have the best all white mansion party. Now, the 20-year-old is a self-described punk rock musician. Still, her choice in music doesn't stop her from wanting to play her father in an upcoming biopic about his life with groundbreaking rap group N.W.A., "Straight Outta Compton."

"I have dreamed of getting this role for many years now, as I have always been inspired by how Hilary Swank played a boy in “Boys Don’t Cry,” Wright said in a press release after discovering that her brother Eric Wright Jr.  told TMZ that he was in talks to play his father.

"I feel the role of my dad in a biopic should “Not” just be a “given” to my brother Lil Eazy solely on the strength that he is my father’s junior," she wrote. "I think my brother should have to audition and earn the role by delivering a great read instead of just being handed the role—and I’d like to add that I feel I should have that same opportunity to audition for the role as well, and be given equal consideration based on my acting ability and not just my relation."

Eazy E died from "complications from AIDS" only a month after diagnosis in 1995. His sexual activity began at the age of 12, which left him with seven children by six different women.
