The magazine editor passes away a day before Christmas.
Terry Glover, managing editor for EBONY magazine, died on Christmas Eve, after a two-year battle with colon cancer, according to the Associated Press. She was 57.
Glover “was the heart and soul of the EBONY team," EBONY Editor-in-Chief Amy Dubois Barnett said in a posting on the magazine's website. "She was one of the best editors I’ve ever worked with, and had a lovely kind demeanor and a fabulous sense of humor.”
Glover was appointed managing editor of EBONY in 2009, after serving three years as a senior editor for the website. She graduated from Northwestern with a B.A. in radio, TV, and film and served in staff and freelance roles for the likes of Playboy, Savoy and Uptown magazines. (Associated Press)
