Record features final show of hometown tour
Jay-Z will release a live album on Tuesday. Less than 60 hours after completing a sold-out eight-night run at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the "Live in Brooklyn EP" record will document the final show with both audio and eight separate videos. Saturday night's closing show was also the only to be streamed live on the internet and to feature a major guest performer - wife Beyonce. Though digital-only, this will be the first live album from Jay-Z since 2001's all-acoustic "Unplugged." All eight of his hometown shows sold out within hours, and about 18,000 people (including a newly-reunited Rihanna and Chris Brown) watched each one. (Guardian)
