The Kardashians Expand Their Empire

From barbies to a new glossy dedicated to them

The Kardashian family is wasting no time in 2012 to expand their empire.

According to the NY Post, the reality television family wants to start controlling their coverage. And in fact want to create their own magazine where the family would be heavily involved in editorial.

Sources say they're close to closing a deal with American Media Inc., which owns publications including Star, The National Enquirer and Shape.

“This is a Kardashian idea,” the source said. “They have been reaching out to several media outlets.”
