Charity event to support people living with HIV/AIDS brings out the stars
Padma Lakshmi hosted a "Dream Halloween" at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City Sunday for the Keep A Child Alive charity. The annual event in Times Square is a family gathering that features celebrities, live musical performances, games, arts and crafts, food from local restaurants and more. Children walked down the legendary Trick-or-Treat Lane, filled their bags with toys and listened to a performance by Cody Simpson. All the proceeds benefited Keep a Child Alive in its efforts to improve the lives of those impacted by HIV/AIDS in the U.S. and other countries. Now in its 11th year, "Dream Halloween" has raised $23.1 million for those in need.
