Kerry Washington to Play Slave Wife in New Film

Washington will play opposite Jamie Foxx in new Quentin Tarantino fiilm
Actress Kerry Washington has been tapped to play an unhappy 'slave wife' in Quentin Tarantino's lasted film "Django Unchained."
Django, played by Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx, is freed by a bounty hunter and is determined to free his wife who is suffering on a Mississippi plantation owned by Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).
The film is due out in theaters in 2012.
Still, Washington will be very busy until then. She's set to star in "The Details," as Rebecca in the Tobey McGuire-led comedy.
The actress will also star opposite Eddie Murphy in "A Thousand Words," which centers on a man who realizes he only has 1.000 words left to say before he dies.
The D.C. native will also star in Shonda Rhimes new sitcom Scandal set in Washington, D.C. Washington plays Olivia Pope, a former media consultant to the President.
Glad to see someone is working.
