Kim Kardashian to Star in Tyler Perry's Next Film
Reality star to appear in 'The Marraige Counselor'
Reality starlet Kim Kardashian has signed onto her biggest acting role to date -- in Tyler Perry's latest film "The Marriage Counselor."
Deadline reports, Kardashian will play Ava, co-worker to marriage counselor and Ivy League-educated relationship expert Judith, played by Jurnee Smolett. Still, when the counselor gets bored with her own marriage and breaks her own professional code and cheats on her husband, drama ensues.
The film is based on Perry's hit stage play of the same name.
Previously, Kardashian had small roles in films including "Deep in the Valley" and "Disaster Movie." Kardashian also has a league of hit reality television shows and specials, including her latest, Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, which garnered 4.4 million viewers on average. She also appears on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which centers on her family relationships along with Kim and Khloe Take New York!, a reality series she films with older sister Khloe Kardashian.
