'Basketball Wives LA' castmember dishes on upcoming wedding

The last time we spoke with Laura Govan she was living in Los Angeles, gearing up for the premiere of VH1's Basketball Wives LA and ignoring a motion filed by her ex-fiance Gilbert Arenas to stop the show.

"Do I think it’s still going to air? Of course I do. Do I think I’m still going to get to say what I want to say? Of course I will," Govan told Loop 21. "He’s not going to stop that. I just think that at this time I’m just focusing on now--this is my life."

What a difference two months makes! Now, the mother of four is back with Orlando Magic's Arenas and engaged to the controversial basketball player.

"Ten year couple, we’re still together, four children. Now it seems like the love that we have for each other is brand new and it’s fresh. How many people can say that," the reality show star asked gossip Web site NecoleBitchie.

And with a 23-carat rock on her finger, Govan is already planning her wedding.

"We don’t have a date set yet but we are definitely looking to get married sometime maybe in the summer, we’ll see," she dished.

Arenas has also come around in a matter of months. He went from trying to stop VH1's reality show to being supportive.

"...He watches a couple clips or he’ll see a couple things and comment on them ...he’s more like this is entertainment," Govan said.
