Mike Tyson gets 'Naked' for Las Vegas One-Man Show
The prize fighter is ready for the stage
He hasn't gotten in the ring in years but recently Mike Tyson has found success in Hollywood. He starred in the award-winning documentary Tyson in 2008 and won laughs for his scene stealing in The Hangover blockbuster series.
Now, the known introvert is preparing to bare all in a 6-night run of his one-man show "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth-Live on Stage," co-written by Tyson's wife, Kiki, and playwright, Randy Johnson.
Featuring video and live music to go along with Tyson's running commentary, the hopes are that the show will embark on a multiple-date world tour following its initial 6-day run.
As far as being naked, well, this is more of a play on words than a literal translation of Tyson's recent quote:
"Film of me going to prison will be screened behind me and I will get naked there in front of people," Tyson told the UK's Daily Mail. "That's what I call it, being naked with my clothes on. Just telling the truth."
Tickets will range in price from $99.99 to $499.99 at the 740-seat Hollywood Theatre inside the MGM Grand Resort and Casino.
