Nate Dogg Estate Sued For Unpaid Medical Bills

Caretakers sue for $293k

Caretakers for deceased Hip Hop singer Nate Dogg claim they are owed $293,512.52 for taking care of the crooner in the years before his death.

Before his passing in 2011, Dogg suffered a stroke in 2008. In those three years he lived at a CareMeridian treatment facility in Orange County where he was working to rehab. He ran up a hefty bill using the center's services and nurses and Dogg's manager promised to pay it. But the people who worked there say they haven't gotten a dime.

California courts have not stepped in ordering that Dogg's estate and manager David Michery pay the balance.

Unfortunately this comes as no surprise. Dogg reportedly didn't die in the best of financial circumstances as his family sent public pleas for help with his burial.
