New Year Will Mark Arsenio Hall's Return to TV

The comedian will join the ranks of BET's T.J. Holmes with his Sept. 2013 comeback

Veteran comedian Arsenio Hall will be ringing in the new year with plans for a return to late-night TV in September 2013 on BET. The last time Hall hosted a show on late-night -- cue 80s babies rocking to 90s themed music -- it was his 1990s-era "The Arsenio Hall Show," which had great success with younger audiences then. With his new show, Hall will join T.J. Holmes ("Don't Sleep! Hosted by T.J. Holmes") as only the second black man on current late-night, and one of the few people of color on television after 6 p.m. (Clutch Magazine)
