Nicki Minaj Cusses Out Mariah Carey During ‘Idol’ Auditions

Rapper threatens to “knock you out” during taping of North Carolina auditions

New “American Idol” judge Nicki Minaj seemed to be channeling LL Cool J when she reportedly threatened to knock out fellow judge Mariah Carey during taping of auditions in Charlotte, N.C. on Tuesday. A video of Minaj, released by the website TMZ, shows the 29-year-old rapper yelling and cursing at Carey. "I told them, I'm not (expletive) putting up with her (expletive) highness over there," Minaj said jesturing toward Carey, who is heard responding with words inaudible on the video. ‘Idol’ broadcaster Fox has high hopes from the new judging line-up, to help improve the shows falling ratings in recent years. A Fox spokeswoman declined to comment on the video. (Reuters)
