Nicki Minaj Loses Big At The Grammys

Bizarre performance and no trophies equal a big #FAIL for pop rapper
After posting a pretty dominant 2011 and what still seems like a promising 2012, pop rapper Nicki Minaj took a major "L" at the 54th Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
On a night where hearts where still unsettled behind the passing of Whitney Houston one night prior, Minaj unsettled minds with an over-produced performance titled "The Exorcism of Roman."

Based around her song "Roman Holiday" the performance featured stage decor resembling a Catholic church. Nicki spat her frantic lines, first inside of a confessional booth, then strapped to gurney, then in a faux-altar. All the while men dressed as monks danced around her slowly removing an article of clothing each minute.
After that, everything became a blinding blur. The only thing we can remember is that she was levitating at the end. The performance did perhaps answer questions as to why Minaj showed up on the red carpet accompanied by a man dressed as the Pope. He was a part of the spectacle.

Aside from becoming the butt of every joke on Twitter, Minaj also didn't walk away with any Grammys, a far different outcome from her impressive night at the American Music Awards where she took home two trophies.
