LAPD and porn star faced off in incident that caused his death

A recen report detailed how Americans are watching Internet porn more than ever.

But unfortunately for porn fans across the world, if they've ever seen Marland Anderson, stage name Sledgehammer in action, they will only be able to watch old tapes of him.

The celebrated porn star was killed by a taser in a fatal confrontation with the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to Anderson's friend, he was tasered to the point of cardiac arrest. He believes cops were intimidated by his 6"4 bulky size and found no other way to subdue him.

The incident, which took place April 8th, consisted of a police call when Anderson's girlfriend said that he was trying to kill himself with a knife. He was then restrained by officers and taken to a hospital. Right before entering the hospital, he broke free from the gurney and cops had to taser him.

Adult film director Stoney Curtis, who witnessed the taser hitting Anderson, said it was excessive. It reportedly caused his heart to stop for 10 minutes until EMS workers revived him.

Anderson then went into a coma until his mother decided to take her son off life support.

He died last Friday, five days after police took him to a hospital for attempting to commit suicide.
