Most than 20 years after scandal, sexual harassment case gets yet another look
The Sundance Film Festival has announced it will premier “ANITA,” a documentary film about the sexual harassment scandal that marred the 1991 Senate confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The Freida Lee Mock directed feature explores the role African American lawyer and university professor Anita Hill played in “bringing sexual politics into the national consciousness and fueling 20 years of international debate on the issues,” according to the Sundance description of the film. Documentary films on former vice president Dick Cheney’s career in politics and the story of WikiLeaks are included in Sundance’s 11-film selection. (POLITICO)
