Tired of Chris Brown? There's an app for that.
"Brownout" will remove all Brown-related content from your news feed
Like many people, the folks at Canadian company AUX Labs are sick of Chris Brown and his antics (the tattoo on his neck of what appears to be a battered Rihanna being the latest stunt), and so they created "Brownout," an app that will block anything to do with Chris Brown from your browser.
“It’s become clear that he remains impulsive and unapologetic and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon," reads a statement on AUX's Website, "So, we here at AUX Labs took it upon ourselves to get rid of him."
The app, which is currently only available for Google Chrome, places black boxes over mentions of Brown's name and over images of his face. AUX created a similar app in 2011, to block mentions of the then ubiquitous band Nickelback.
So what do you think? Is blocking Breezy from browsers taking things a bit too far?
