This week rapper Joe Budden felt what it's like to look death in the eyes...on Twitter.

Budden, who is one of the more active entertainers on Twitter, retweeted a message that stopped the world in its tracks for all of 30 seconds.

But then Budden followed up moments later with this message.

But that apology fell on deaf ears as Eddie Murphy fans (and people who just don't like Joe Budden) went in on the misinformed rapper.

Ouch. When Budden tweeted, "RIP Eddie Murphy" became a top trending topic almost instantly. But after a while it was trumped by "RIP Joe Budden." Guess the people revealed who they'd rather go without. But no worries, within the hour Joey was resurrected and looked to be entering another twitter squabble with one of those "video vixens" he's always attached to. That said, you might see Joe getting talked about again around these parts next week too.
