Finally! Royce Calls Out Tami's Bully Behavior on "Basketball Wives"
Says her behavior is an embarrassment.
By now we’ve all seen that disgusting display of adult bullying on last night’s episode of “Basketball Wives.” If you didn’t catch last night’s episode, I’m sure you’re imagining what went down. There was no fight just yet but, there was drama on the trip to Tahiti.
Shaunie, Evelyn, Kesha, Suzie and Tami went overseas claiming that they didn’t want a fight but somehow they decided to talk about who-said-what-about-who behind the other one’s back and basically devote the trip to women they don’t like.
In addition to that, Kesha became the scapegoat for their immaturity. It started when they were taking a van to their hotel and Kesha coughed. However, Tami, who was sitting behind Kesha, for get this, the way she covered her mouth. “I get offended when people cough and they don’t cover their mouth, that’s a big deal for me and I don’t tolerate that from anybody.”
Considering Tami’s unjustified anger about a bodily function, wouldn’t that same theory apply to all the hot air she spews whenever she’s cursing someone out for walking the wrong way?

But it started with the van and just continued from there. Later, Kesha's act of "irrational" fear (side eye) towards swimming with sharks and stingrays annoyed the group, as well. Mind you, none of the women even had the balls to get as close as Kesha did, but treated her like she was a punk.
Apparently, the source of Tami’s annoyance was that someone told Tami that Kesha said…it doesn’t even really matter what she said. It was something trivial that made Tami feel disrespected so in turn, she decided to disrespect Kesha with bitchy behavior throughout the trip but took it up about 50 notches. By the time the episode ended, Tami was breaking on Kesha and viewers were left with clips that show that Kesha may call the police on Tami for holding on to her purse, in an act to make Kesha face her (Kesha is not confrontational and actually told Tami that she wasn’t trying to battle her). Watch the following clips before you continue:

It’s the disgusting redundant behavior typical of “Basketball Wives,” especially for this season. What’s even worse is that the other women participate by snickering behind Kesha’s back and letting Tami be a loon. However, Royce, who wasn’t on the trip, added her own take on the situation and she actually called her friend Tami out on it via her VH1 blog.
Moving on to Tahiti…if this wasn’t deja vu, I don’t know what is. I was honestly just hoping Kesha didn’t say her skin hurt. Tami seemed as though she was trying to find something to get upset about and she chose a cough. From the way the girls were seated in the car, to laughing and making faces behind Kesha‘s back if you take a screen capture from that scene and mine from the van in Spain, it’s almost identical. I’m not sure what happened to Tami, but this isn’t the woman I’ve gotten to know.
To see these women gang up on someone who has done nothing to them is embarrassing. I say ganging up because NO ONE did anything to stop it. If you don’t say anything you then become part of the problem. Who cares if Kesha was scared to get in the ocean with sharks and stingrays, I don’t believe I saw any of your asses in a swimsuit jumping in the water either. How are you going to call someone else scary when at least they put on the attire instead of saying “Oh Hell NO” in confessionals?????
I applaud Suzie and Kesha for appreciating what Tahiti had to offer and attempting to stay drama free. I find it amazing when alcohol is used as liquid courage and an excuse to turn into the HULK. Most times I drink, I get emotional, horny, and just want to dance…..:side-eye: lol. But if you know that drinks cause you to have a temper, why indulge just because everyone else is? The whole scene with Tami and Kesha I shook my head. At some point you have to look at yourself and say “Damn, that wasn’t a good look. I need to change the way I speak to people and handle things because I look crazy.” If you don’t see it, your “so-called” friends have and should tell you the same. Tami, if Evelyn and Shaunie found no problem with Kesha’s questions, it wasn’t up to you to find one.
Tami, if you HEARD Kesha said all these things about you, why not call out the person who told you so you can get all three parties together. I’m sure THAT PERSON was probably sitting at that table. I have an idea of two people who could’ve said it. One is known to talk a lot, and the other is a snake in the grass. If you’re going based off the footage that was shown, Kesha said “I seriously had to just NOT go off…and honestly, like, I could’ve came at Tami and said whatever I wanted to but there’s nothing I could’ve said that would’ve made her look worse than she was making herself look…Tami is like acting a fool” …She never said she wanted to, so why are you asking her to now??? The smirking on the side by Evelyn and Shaunie is a DAMN SHAME. Grown as women talking about a damn position! Grown ass women wanting to fight with no repercussions!I HEARD about what happened in Tahiti but seeing it now is an embarrassment and the sh!t is PISSING ME OFF!!!! GROWN ASS AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN feeding into the stereotype already placed on us…plus two!!!!!!!!
Slow claps for Royce! It’s about time one of the women from these shows takes a rational look at what has been going on. I don’t blame Royce for stepping back from the drama because it’s just inane. And the older you get behaving that way, the dumber you look. The problem is that these women are so insecure that something as stupid as who said what about who and being disrespected by person A, B or C is such a problem that they have to flex the dominance that they wish they really had. And these are the types of women who are getting ahead in life over genuinely hard workingwomen who actually do get along with each other.
I’ve never encountered anything as petty in all of my years in the entertainment industry. Trust me, I know it’s out there and I’ve have seen and heard some suspect things but for the most party, the women I know are positive and actually do know how to play well with others. But what do they have to show for it compared to reality TV “stars” who get off on throwing glasses and fists at people?
