Five Campaign Ads Pandering Directly to Iowans

TV spots would not be seen anywhere else if it weren’t for Internet.
It’s rare to find anything cheesier than a political TV ad, especially the ones that pander shamelessly to its targeted audience.
The ads running in Iowa have been gaudy, melodramatic, alarmist and even scary. They were all run with the same goal; they incite anger or other emotions strong enough to disable a voter’s healthy sense of skepticism.
Believe it or not, spending is down for the Republican Iowa caucuses this year. It’s estimated that candidates will spend up to $10.5 million, according to one bipartisan group following the caucuses.
Here are five ads that you wouldn’t see at all if they were not hanging out in the "non-viral dungeons" of YouTube:
