Fit Over 40: Fitness Between The Sheets
A poor diet can lead to bad sex.
If your sex life is lacking, a poor health and fitness routine may be to blame. People who are in good shape experience more satisfaction during sex, higher levels of intimacy, more orgasms, and reliable sexual functioning. So, if you truly want to become a great lover between the sheets, follow the suggestions below.
Improve Your Endurance: If you don’t want to run out of steam, build up your endurance with any form of cardio training. Running, jumping rope, or just walking around the block are good places to start. Improved cardio training will have you going like the Energizer bunny.
Strength and Power: In order to hold various sexual positions, it’s important to build up muscle. Integrate weight-training exercises in with your workout routine, such as bicep curls and lateral arm raises, and don’t forget about good old-fashioned push-ups and crunches. There’s nothing worse than your legs or arms giving out when you’re about to climax.
Better Flexibility: Flexibility is vital to your ability to stretch and twist into various sexual positions. To help you become more flexible, which will definitely add to your sexual pleasure, try taking a yoga class at least three times per week.
Good Nutrition: Your body needs healthy foods to help it run like a well-tuned sports car, and a high-sugar, high-fat diet won’t do you any good—in the bedroom or otherwise. Make sure to add high-protein, low-sugar, and low-fat foods to your diet, including lean meats, fruits, and vegetables
Remember that sex gets better with age, and to ensure that the orgasms keep coming, you have to do your part to keep yourself in good shape.
What's your favorite way to maintain a bedroom body?
