Happiness is in Your Genes
And we're not talking Joe's.
A new study in genetic effects of happiness revealed that genes have a much higher moral sense than minds, with means to reward the humane and discipline the vain.
How did the studies decipher this new knowledge?
Collected dated from the University of North Carolina and UCLA, entailed 80 healthy volunteers’ thoughts on satisfaction in their lives compared to analysis of their white blood cells.
While it's no news to scientists that moods affect health, the idea that underlying cells could play a part as well was unclear. With the new gene-expression profiles inside white blood cells, this insight was unveiled, linking happiness to genes.
Would you ever have expected that a close up of your genes could tell the story of your happiness level? Now you know!
